Hosted by presenter Matty White, bartender Jack Sotti, and series producer Jonathan Almond, At The Bar looks to blend unscripted conversations with imaginative cocktail creations.

Almond, founder and creative director at Delightful Media, said: “At The Bar is all about opening up the culture around drinking in a way that’s fun, engaging and authentic. By mixing recognisable names with creative, interactive segments, we’re showing that the bar isn’t just about what’s in the glass, it’s about the conversations, the choices, the atmosphere, and the memories that come with it.

“We wanted to make a series that resonates with industry and consumers alike, and gives our guests space to share their personality through the lens of the drinks world.”

Confirmed guests for series one includes Sunday Brunch host Simon Rimmer,  journalist and Masterchef critic Jay Rayner, Food Unwrapped presenter Kate Quilton, bar consultant and Celebrate Her founder Anna Sebastian, DJ BBQ, and radio DJ Nihal Arthanayake.

Each episode invites the guest to share their personal drinking preferences and memorable experiences, while also exploring new and unusual drinks that challenge expectations and celebrate the creativity of modern cocktail culture.

At The Bar premieres this Friday 12 September

Each episode of the series follows a structure with a selection of core segments that repeat each week. The first creative segment is ‘Dream Drink’, in which the hosts discuss their guests’ favourite cocktail. However, this goes beyond simply naming a hero drink, as the trio also asks the guests to describe the where, who and why of their dream drinking moment. Then, using these details, Sotti crafts a bespoke serve that is designed to embody the memory, the mood and the sense of place offered by the guest’s story.

Other signature segments in the series include the ‘Winner Stays On’ – a head-to-head showdown of cocktail preferences that asks guests to choose between two drinks, with the winning choice carried forward against the next contender until a final champion emerges – and ‘Mailbox’, a segment in which the hosts explore a new or unusual product on the market, tasting them neat before challenging Sotti to use it in a cocktail.

They are joined by the ‘This or That’ quick-fire round that explores the full bar experience. From cocktails to wine, bar snacks to dining choices, and favourite venues to preferred styles, guests reveal their instincts across the spectrum of drinking culture.

All of the full-length episodes from series one of At The Bar will be dropping on the Delightful Drinks YouTube channel and the At The Bar Spotify show page this Friday 12 September.

Shorter clips will roll out across the At The Bar Instagram account, @atthebarhq, twice weekly, with the support of the @delightfuldrinks account to drive reach and engagement.

Additionally, collaborative posts from the presenters and featured talent will direct viewers to the full episodes.
