Hennessy returns to Notting Hill Carnival
Moët Hennessy’s flagship Cognac brand will expand its presence at the upcoming Notting Hill Carnival in London with its first float experience.

At the 2025 Notting Hill Carnival, taking place during this month’s bank holiday weekend (24-25 August), Hennessy will host new brand festivities, including its first float experience and retail and cultural partnerships.
The float is said to bring the spirit of the Caribbean to the streets of West London with music, dance, and vibrant celebration.
Guests at the Hennessy float will be served the bespoke Coco Cocktail, a Caribbean-inspired drink that combines lime juice, coconut water, and the brand’s VS Cognac.
In keeping with its longstanding connection to Caribbean culture and carnival celebrations worldwide, Hennessy will collaborate with a mas band for this year’s carnival.
Lizzie Bailey, the brand’s UK marketing manager, said: “Hennessy’s roots run deep in the Caribbean. Our Cognacs have been appreciated amongst the Caribbean community since
the early 19th century, and we are proud to honour that connection here in London.”

Ahead of the carnival weekend, Hennessy has rolled out eye-catching displays in cash-and-carry locations across London to enhance its visibility in key trade outlets. Participating stores are offering exclusive merchandise, including graphic carnival flasks, fans, and whistles.
The brand is expanding its corner shop support programme by providing themed point-of-sale materials and displays. The initiative aims to highlight the importance of independent retailers in the celebration and to reinforce Hennessy’s status as the ‘Spirit of Carnival’ within both retail and cultural contexts.
For the second consecutive year, Hennessy is also bringing back its limited edition Hennessy VS Carnival bottle design inspired by ‘the vibrant colours and exuberance of Carnival’. The bottle features a lively feather motif instead of the traditional gold scrollwork, said to capture the festive and cultural spirit of the celebration.
The limited edition bottle is now available at convenience retailers across the UK, priced at £37.50 (US$49) for a 700ml bottle and £11.75 (US$16) for the new 200ml format.
LVMH’s spirits division recently reported a 17% sales decrease for the first quarter of 2025, which followed a full-year revenue decline of 14% in 2024.
