Hennessy celebrates Notting Hill Carnival
By Miona MadsenMoët Hennessy’s flagship Cognac brand will join the celebration of Notting Hill Carnival this weekend as an official sponsor of Rampage Sound.
Hennessy Cognac has partnered with local London artists Kudi, Vibes, and Cee to design three independent stores for Carnival, which will be held between 25-26 August in Notting Hill, London.
Each Notting Hill store will offer an exclusive line of Hennessy merchandise created in partnership with the artists, including a limited run of graphic tees and festival whistles.
Hennessy is marking the occasion with its Caribbean Sea-inspired limited edition VS bottle, reprising the ‘dazzling blue of the ocean and the vivid hues of Carnival’.
The limited edition Carnival bottle has swapped foil design elements with bold blues to evoke images of the Caribbean Sea. It is described as giving the bras armé emblem (Hennessy’s logo) a sheen. Furthermore, the gold grapevine scrollwork has been replaced with a colourful feather motif.
The Carnival edition bottle is available from selected convenience stores across the UK, priced at RRP £37.50 (US$49).
Earlier this month, Hennessy Cognac took over Selfridges Corner Shop in London to celebrate its partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA).
