Discarded creates zero-waste capsule collection
By Georgie CollinsSustainable spirits producer Discarded has partnered with vintage fashion boutique Chillie London to create a gender-neutral capsule collection made from upcycled and deadstock.

The collaboration is said to have been born from the two brands’ shared mission: reversing needless waste while inspiring progress. Discarded Spirits reduces waste in the food and drink industry by repurposing discarded ingredients into innovative spirits.
As such, the capsule collection produced in partnership with Chillie London specialises in one-of-a-kind pieces from the 1980s and 1990s. The range champions creativity, wearability, and nineties style, including 1990s deadstock heavyweight tees and boxer-style shorts that have been reimagined with custom Discarded x Chillie London graphics.
The tees are reversible and designed to create multiple looks. Each comes with a complimentary Discarded x Chillie leather pouch, crafted entirely from surplus materials.
Lydia McNeill, co-founder of Chillie London, said: “We’re huge fans of Discarded Spirits, so partnering with them felt like such a natural fit. After our recent ‘Stitch and Sip’ event co-hosted with the brand, it’s exciting to continue that energy with the launch of this collection. It’s all about reimagining what others throw away and turning it into something you’ll want to wear every day.”

Model and singer Pixie Geldof is the face of the collection. As a long-time advocate for conscious creativity and cultural change, it is said that her ‘effortless style’ and commitment to sustainability make her the perfect ambassador for the collaboration, which is ‘rooted in quiet rebellion’.
Sam Trevethyen, global brand ambassador for Discarded Spirits Co, explained: “Pixie brings a sense of purpose and personality to the campaign that cuts through. Her energy, connection to London, and creative voice make this feel like more than just fashion – it’s a statement.”
McNeill added: “Pixie lives and breathes conscious creativity, she makes sustainability look effortless, and that’s exactly the energy we wanted for this campaign.”
Proceeds from the capsule collection will go towards The Felix Project, which helps to tackle food waste and food poverty across London.
Geldof said: “I’m so thrilled to work with Chillie London and Discarded on this collaboration. I love how Discarded has taken something often overlooked and turned it into something truly delicious with their Banana Peel Rum. Then there’s Chillie creating new fashion out of forgotten pieces – giving them a second life so they don’t end up in a landfill. It’s a wonderful celebration of the joy of upcycling.”
The Discarded x Chillie London Capsule Collection is now available online and in-store at www.chillielondon.com and Chillie London’s Portobello Road boutique.
