Zamora Company welcomes new HR director

Spanish family-owned producer Zamora Company has appointed Eva Olavarrieta as its director of HR and internal communication.

At Zamora Company, Olavarrieta’s focus will be on fostering the company’s development on a global and multicultural scale, including enhancing its organisational culture, promoting company values, and developing talent, skills, and leadership through exemplary practices.

She said: “I am happy to join Zamora Company, a company with a great trajectory and international projection within the premium spirits and beverages sector.

“I take on this challenge with great enthusiasm and the commitment to help continue building a solid and inspiring corporate culture, which continues to attract, develop and promote their teams.”

With more than 15 years of experience in HR management, Olavarrieta started her career managing the commercial department of British multinational Dixons Carphone. She has also worked in organisations like Dominion Global, The Phone House, and Altadis.

She holds a law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, a master of business administration (MBA), and several official certifications from IE Business School in leadership and executive coaching management.

Zamora Company’s portfolio includes brands such as Licor 43, Villa Massa Limoncello, Martin Miller’s Gin, Volteo Tequila, and Abuelo Rum.

Last year, the company reported its third consecutive year-on-year growth in 2023.
