Top 10 biggest-selling vodka Brand Champions 2025
It was a mixed performance for the world’s million-case-selling vodka brands in 2024 – but which were top of the table in The Brand Champions 2025?

Peruse the full list of vodka brands in The Brand Champions 2025 report, and you’ll see nearly half experienced volume declines in 2024.
But we try to be a ‘glass is half full’ kind of editorial team here, so it’s worth focusing on how despite a decent number seeing their volumes drop, the majority were in growth.
According to Euromonitor International data, vodka’s volume sales equated to 338.44 million nine-litre cases in 2023, and are expected to have dipped slightly to 338.4m in 2024.
This year’s Vodka Brand Champion was Ukraine’s Nemiroff, which also secured the title of Supreme Brand Champion 2025.
So, bigger picture – how did the world’s biggest vodka brands perform in 2024? Scroll below to see the biggest performers from this year’s report.
The data is listed to one decimal place for ease of reading, but the percentage changes were calculated on the full data supplied. All data is recorded in millions of nine-litre cases.
10. Żoładkowa (including Gorzka)
Owner: Stock Spirits Group
Volume: 2020: 4.6 | 2021: 4.9 | 2022: 4.2 | 2023: 4.4 | 2024: 4.3
% change: -3.0%
Place last year: 6
Slipping further down the table this year is Żoładkowa. The Polish vodka brand has been struggling to return to growth in the past couple of years and is still a few thousand cases away from its 2021 peak.
9. Arkhangelskaya
Owner: Novabev
Volume: 2020: 3.0 | 2021: 3.3 | 2022: 4.0 | 2023: 4.4 | 2024: 4.7
% change: 5.6%
Place last year: 5
Solid single-digit growth wasn’t enough to keep Arkhangelskaya in fifth place, as the vodka brand drops to ninth place this year.
Launched in 2015, the vodka brand topped one million cases for the first time in 2019 and has managed to deliver consistent year-on-year growth ever since. In 2024, its volume sales were up by a respectable 5.6%.
8. New Amsterdam Vodka
Owner: Gallo
Volume: 2020: 5.3 | 2021: 5.1 | 2022: 5.1 | 2023: 5.1 | 2024: 4.9
% change: -2.8%
Place last year: N/A
New Amsterdam Vodka dipped below the five-million-case mark in 2024 to 4.9m cases.
In 2024, Brandon Live, vice-president of spirits at Gallo, noted how the vodka category had become “less noisy”, presenting an “opportunity to have your own space”. This year, Gallo revamped New Amsterdam’s packaging. Could this be the boost the brand needs to pass 5m-case sales again?
7. Magic Moments
Owner: Radico Khaitan
Volume: 2020: 3.5 | 2021: 3.7 | 2022: 4.8 | 2023: 6.2 | 2024: 7.1
% change: 15.8%
Place last year: 4
Another brand that delivered positive growth in 2024 was Indian vodka Magic Moments, which grew by an impressive 15.8%.
At the end of last year, the vodka brand released a limited edition pack to celebrate the new year. Earlier this year, meanwhile, the brand appointed Indian actress Kriti Sanon as its brand ambassador. She could draw additional interest towards the brand, but will that translate into more case sales?
6. Żubrówka
Owner: Maspex Group
Volume: 2020: 10.0 | 2021: 10.8 | 2022: 10.5 | 2023: 9.5 | 2024: 9.5
% change: -0.2%
Place last year: 3
Żubrówka’s volume sales were pretty stagnant in 2024, dipping slightly by 0.2%. The vodka brand was acquired by Maspex Group in 2022.
Last year was a big year for the brand, as it introduced a new slogan for its flagship Bison Grass and Biała products, plus redesigned labels. The new slogan – ‘Serve the wild, same heart, different looks’ – formed part of its marketing campaign. A new six-figure campaign was unveiled at the start of 2025, but will that be enough to put it back in growth by next year’s report?
5. Hlibny Dar
Owner: Bayadera Group
Volume: 2020: 8.5 | 2021: 9.2 | 2022: 8.6 | 2023: 9.1 | 2024: 10.0
% change: 9.9%
Place last year: N/A
Bayadera Group’s Hlibny Dar vodka returns to the top 10 list this year following a strong 2024 performance. The brand’s case sales rose by almost one million last year, up by 9.9%. In July last year, Hlibny Dar’s Harvest Day variant secured a distribution deal in the Netherlands in partnership with De Kuyper Royal Distillers.
4. Morosha
Owner: Global Spirits
Volume: 2020: 7.0 | 2021: 7.9 | 2022: 6.2 | 2023: 9.4 | 2024: 10.3
% change: 10.0%
Place last year: N/A
The former Vodka Brand Champion 2020 grew by almost a million cases in 2024, from 9.4m in 2023 to 10.3m in 2024. With Hlibny Dar hot on its heels and delivering similar rates of growth, it’ll be interesting to see how these two brands battle it out in the table next year.
3. Khortytsa
Owner: Global Spirits
Volume: 2020: 10.4 | 2021: 10.9 | 2022: 9.4 | 2023: 11.0 | 2024: 11.2
% change: 2.0%
Place last year: N/A
Global Spirits also had a positive year of growth for Khortytsa Vodka, which grew by 2.0% last year. It edges ever closer to Pernod’s Absolut, which is fewer than a million cases ahead.
2. Absolut
Owner: Pernod Ricard
Volume: 2020: 9.6 | 2021: 11.7 | 2022: 13.0 | 2023: 11.9 | 2024: 12.0
% change: 0.5%
Place last year: 2
A modest 0.5% increase in 2024 saw Absolut break through the 12m-case threshold for the first time in 2024.
The brand remained as active as ever throughout the year, with various market initiatives and limited edition launches – such as the notable Andy Warhol limited edition bottle, and a bespoke cocktail to mark the launch of Wicked the movie.
1. Smirnoff
Owner: Diageo
Volume: 2020: 23.0 | 2021: 26.5 | 2022: 28.1 | 2023: 26.0 | 2024: 24.4
% change: -6.1%
Place last year: 1
Smirnoff should still feel pretty comfortable at the top of the table, as its sales are more than double that of its closest competitor – despite a 6.1% sales drop. The brand continued to release new products and make marketing moves throughout last year, such as signing a multi-year global partnership with Australian singer and actor Troye Sivan.
This year has already been busy for the brand, which was front and centre during this year’s Super Bowl weekend, and followed by a new flavour launch in the US, Smirnoff Electric Guava.
