Under the new distribution agreement, Kirker Greer’s Ukiyo Japanese Spirits and Born Irish Whiskey brands will be available to Australia’s on-trade.

The partnership aims to deliver unique experiences to Australian consumers while meeting the individual needs of each on-trade venue partner.

It is also is part of Kirker Greer Spirits’ goal of becoming a prominent player in the Asia Pacific spirits market.

Ukiyo Japanese Spirits’ Blossom, Yuzu, and Tokyo Dry Gins and Rice Vodka, will be joined on the market by Born Irish Whiskey, a contemporary blend of single malt and single grain Irish whiskeys made with infusions of chocolate malt, roasted barley and vanilla.

According to Kirker Greer, both brands bring something fresh to the Australian market, and Proof Drinks Australia is positioned as an ideal partner to drive its success in on-trade venues nationwide.

Ryan McFarland, chief commercial and strategy officer of Drinksology Kirker Greer, said: “We’re focused on long-term value creation for our brands, our partners, and ultimately for consumers.

“Ukiyo Japanese Spirits and Born Irish Whiskey are built on bold ideas and distinctive execution. Proof Drinks Australia shares our passion for premium, quality, and doing things differently. Together, we’re building a strong foundation for meaningful growth in an important international market.”

The collaboration is described as a tailored partnership designed to meet the unique needs of each venue.

As part of the agreement, Proof Drinks Australia will work closely with on-trade partners to create innovative serves, engaging activations, and bespoke support designed to help operators stand out in a competitive landscape.

Drew Doty, managing director of Proof Drinks Australia, added: “Ukiyo Japanese Spirits and Born Irish Whiskey bring something truly compelling to our portfolio.

“We pride ourselves on backing exceptional brands that offer more than just great liquid to the Australian consumer – they offer identity, narrative, and a reason to choose. This partnership is a perfect fit for our vision in 2025 and beyond.”

Last year, Kirker Greer partnered with distributor The First Pour to launch its Ukiyo range in Singapore.

Earlier this month, the company secured a listing for Ukiyo Yuzu Gin in 210 Co-op grocery stores across the UK.
