Cygnet Gin strengthens team with new hires
By Miona MadsenWelsh gin brand Cygnet, co-founded by singer Katherine Jenkins OBE, has welcomed three new team members to support its global expansion.

Launched in 2023 by classical singer Jenkins and filmmaker Andrew Levitas, Cygnet has quickly gained momentum, including debuting in Singapore earlier this year.
The brand has added three new team members to support its global expansion: Rhys Johnson as UK and Europe sales director, Reinis Karolis as finance manager, and Gabriele Sasnauskaite as advocacy and culture manager.
The team’s expansion comes after former Campari Group CEO Matteo Fantacchiotti’s appointment as partner and chairman in December 2024, followed by Vedran Milosevic’s role as global managing director in June 2025.
Milosevic stated: “Welcoming Rhys, Reinis, and Gabriele marks an exciting evolution for Cygnet. Their individual strengths and shared commitment to excellence perfectly align with our pursuit of innovation, elegance, and global reach.
“Together, we’re poised to elevate not only our brand but the very essence of luxury gin, cultivating a richer, more inclusive culture along the way.”
Made at the Penderyn Copperworks in Swansea since January 2025, the brand’s portfolio includes flagship Cygnet Welsh Dry Gin, Cygnet 22, recently launched aged gin Cygnet 77, and ready-to-drink Cygnet Welsh Dry Gin & Tonic.
Global gin volumes grew by 2% last year, led by emerging markets such as India, while the UK and the US continued to decline.
Eight gin brands sold over one million cases last year with only two in growth, according to The Brand Champions 2025 report.
