SB Podcast cracks Spirited Awards top 10

Tales of the Cocktail Foundation (TOTCF) has revealed the latest instalment of its top 10 nominees for the Spirited Awards 2025, with The Spirits Business selected as a finalist for Best Cocktail & Spirits Publication, and Best Broadcast, Podcast, or Online Video Series.

Spirited Awards
The Spirits Business Podcast has made its debut as a finalist in the Spirited Awards 2025

Established in 2007, the Spirited Awards is now in its 19th year. They aim to celebrate excellence across the global bar industry, recognising achievements in both domestic and international categories from bars to bartenders, bar teams and cocktail menus.

In addition, the programme includes awards for writing and media, as well as top honours that celebrate the best in the world, such as World’s Best Cocktail Bar and World’s Best Cocktail Menu.

The Spirits Business magazine has made it into the top 10 before but this year marks the first time The Spirits Business Podcast has been nominated.

The podcast was launched last year and is hosted by The Spirits Business editor-in-chief Melita Kiely.

“Every year, we’re inspired by the extraordinary and diverse global talent emerging from our industry,” said Tiffanie Barriere, Spirited Awards US chair. “This year’s shortlist is a celebration of those who are redefining excellence – crafting remarkable cocktails, elevating guest experiences, and pushing our industry to new heights around the world.”

In partnership with official media partner, Forbes, TOTCF will honour recipients during the Tales of the Cocktail conference, which is celebrating its 23rd year in New Orleans from 20-25 July 2025.

Following the announcement of the top 10 nominees in the US, Europe, and international categories, the foundation has now revealed the top 10 Writing & Media, Books, Product & Ingredients, and World’s Best Cocktail Menu and Spirits Selection nominees.
