Wattshot partners with Bemakers
By Miona MadsenGin-based shot brand Wattshot has teamed up with Danish distributor Bemakers to expand its presence in Europe.

Established by Stuart Logan from South Africa and Douglas Everest from Scotland, Wattshot is designed to be enjoyed as a shot.
The company’s first product is a gin-based, cherry-flavoured spirit, offered at 37.5% ABV, which can be enjoyed ice cold or in a cocktail.
Called Wattshot Premium Flavoured Shot, the company describes the product as ‘bold cherry-flavoured with a fiery finish and a signature buzz’.
Logan said: “As a foodie at heart and a scientist by profession, I created Wattshot out of my passion for fun and flavours and to fill a market gap: a gin shot that actually tastes good.
“By creating a product that’s versatile enough to be enjoyed as a shot, mixed with a mixer, or easily shaken up in a cocktail at nearly any time, or even better, where the bar leads to the dance floor.”
By partnering with Bemakers, the brand hopes to reach consumers and professionals across Europe.
Wattshot is now listed on Bemakers Trade for the on- and off-trade in Sweden, Denmark, and Germany.
The flavoured shot is available directly to consumers via e-commerce in Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden. Furthermore, it can be found at Systembolaget in Sweden.
Wattshot is also available in the UK directly from the company’s website for £29.95 (US$39).
Other brands that partnered with Bemakers this year include Rumi Beverages, a Netherlands-based producer of Persian spirits, and Cambodia’s Seekers Independent Spirits.
