The series began at the end of last month (January), when Leeds-based bar Tabula Rasa and its owner Filippos Filippopoulos took over the bar to celebrate the end of Dry January, sponsored by Boatyard Distillery.

Next up is Stanislav Harcinik from Bratislava’s Mirror Bar, who will head to the London venue on 22 February to celebrate World Bartender’s Day, sponsored by No.3 Gin.

The next event will coincide with International Women’s Day on 5 March, when The Spy Bar will welcome Alexandra Purcaru, co-owner and beverage director of Selva, in Oaxaca, Mexico. The event will be sponsored by The Lost Explorer.

In the summer, the bar will be taken over by Singapore’s Jigger & Pony team for two nights (30 June and 1 July).

The series will also see The Spy Bar team head out to venues worldwide, including return trips to Jigger & Pony and Mirror Bar.

Other bars the team will be heading to include Thessaloniki bars Purovoku Project and the Speakeasy Floor at Blue Cup, and Rome’s Drink Kong.

Raffles London at The OWO opened in 2023, with The Spy Bar awarded a pin in the inaugural Pinnacle Guide in 2024.
