Royal Salute unveils Lunar New Year edition
By Miona MadsenChivas Brothers-owned blended Scotch whisky brand Royal Salute has released a special edition Lunar New Year gift pack.

Created by Chinese illustrator Jason Lyon, the gift pack depicts symbols of ‘prosperity, opportunity and rebirth’ combined with the celebratory gun salute fired from The Tower of London, Royal Salute’s symbolic home.
The illustration is said to capture the vibrancy of the New Lunar Year celebrations, which bring families and friends together to mark the passing of one year and the fresh start of the next with light, sound, and colour.
Lyon commented: “My design captures the intricate details and symbols used to elevate the festive atmosphere as people across the globe gather to celebrate new opportunities. With this special edition of Royal Salute, I’m blending legacy and culture to immerse others in joy, fortune, elegance and love.”
The special edition of Royal Salute 21-year-old Signature Blend will be available worldwide at selected luxury retailers, for RRP US$200.
The Royal Salute brand was founded to commemorate the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
It has released a Lunar New Year gift pack annually since 2020.
Earlier this month, The Spirits Business listed the top 10 spirits brands celebrating the Year of the Snake.
Last year, Royal Salute partnered with British-American fashion designer Harris Reed to celebrate London Fashion Week.
