The Valentine’s Special Edition features a new label with the words ‘I Love Harris Gin’ and flecks of copper hearts in 24 unique patterns.

The bottle includes a heart gift card with customised romantic messages handwritten by the distillery team.

Launching today, 29 January, the limited run of 70oml bottles retails at £49.50 (US$62) each and can be purchased directly from the distillery website.

Additionally, visitors to the Isle of Harris Distillery shop in Tarbert can buy the limited edition from Monday, 10 February, when the shop reopens for the season.

Simon Erlanger, managing director at Isle of Harris Distillery, said: “Despite the challenging Outer Hebridean climate, the people of Harris are known for their warmth-hearted natures. From the stunning landscapes to our rich traditions, there’s something about this island that brings people together.

“With the ‘I Love Harris Gin’ bottle, we’re celebrating the unique spirit of the Hebrides and the connections and moments it inspires. It’s a little piece of Harris to share with someone special this Valentine’s Day.”

The distillery released its first single malt, The Hearach, in September 2023, followed by a second permanent expression in September 2024.

At this year’s Golden Globes, Isle of Harris gin and whisky were included in the gift bag for attendees.

The Hebridean island is home to a popular spot for marriage proposals on Luskentyre Beach.

Distillery storyteller Lauren MacSween met her husband Pim Verhees on a blind date at the distillery, later saying yes to his proposal on the island. The brand has created a cocktail in celebration of their relationship.
