Inception Group embraces Valentine’s Day

Mr Fogg’s owner the Inception Group has launched a selection of menus across its venues to celebrate Valentine’s Day (14 February).

Five Mr Fogg’s venues have created Valentine’s menus using Black Cow vodka

Inception Group is the parent company behind London bar chains Cahoots, Mr Fogg’s, Control Room B, and Bunga Bunga.

The group currently has nine Mr Fogg’s venues in the English capital. For Valentine’s Day, five of the venues –  Mr Fogg’s Residence, Apothecary, Society of Exploration, Pawnbrokers and Treehouse – have teamed up with Dorset-based vodka producer Black Cow to create a unique cocktail menu that celebrates love from around the world, with each serve being named I Love You in different languages.

Control Room B’s menu celebrates three different types of love using Cîroc vodka

At Mr Fogg’s Society of Exploration, guests can order the I Love You, which combines Black Cow & English Strawberries vodka, apricot liqueur, basil syrup, cranberry juice and fresh lime juice, while at Mr Fogg’s Pawnbrokers, the Japanese translation ‘Aishitemasu’ is a sour and sharp blend of Black Cow vodka, Akashi Tai Ginjo Yuzushu, yuzu sherbet, rose syrup and fresh lime juice.

Finally, Mr Fogg’s Treehouse has turned to the Indian language of Marathi for ‘मी तुझ्यावर प्रेम करतो’ or ‘Mī tujhyāvara prēma karatō’, to create a serve that combines Black Cow vodka with mango honegar shrub, cardamon and saffron syrup, condensed milk and lemon bitters.

The menu will be available from 1-18 February.

Meanwhile, at Control Room B, the 1950s-styled bar within Battersea Power Station, the Power of Love menu in partnership with Cîroc Vodka will be available for the month of February.

The menu of three cocktails celebrates all forms of love – romantic, platonic, and self-love – through the metaphor of electricity focusing on sparking connections, building bonds, and sharing affection, whether it’s between friends, family, or oneself.

Highlights include The Current, described as a refreshing and floral blend of Cîroc Red Berry vodka, rose and cucumber syrup and yuzu sherbet, topped with pink sparkling wine, and The Power Surge, a mix of Cîroc vodka, Mozart white chocolate liqueur, Cointreau, fresh basil leaf, strawberry purée, honey and chocolate bitters.

The two Cahoots venues, Underground and the recently opened Postal Office, will be transformed into a ‘realm of romance and intrigue’ with a UV menu experience.

Each cocktail will be accompanied by a love note or telegraph that will be revealed under ultraviolet light, immersing guests in ‘tales of forbidden secrets and scoundrelly charm’.

Both Cahoots venues are offering serves made with Moët & Chandon Champagne

The drinks have been crafted in partnership with Moët & Chandon and Chambord.

Highlights at Cahoots: Postal Office include the Love in Bloom, inspired by the French 75, which brings together Belvedere vodka, mandarin, basil and lime sherbet, topped with Moët & Chandon Impérial Blanc N.V. Champagne, while over in Soho, Cahoots: Underground’s Valentine’s menu includes The Vicious Vogue Royale, a creamy and fruity concoction of Hennessy V.S. Cognac, Chambord black raspberry liqueur, milk, cream, eggs and strawberry syrup, topped with Moët & Chandon Impérial Blanc N.V. Champagne.

Bunga Bunga Valentine's Day
Bunga Bunga has teamed up with Tequila Rose

Finally, Bunga Bunga Covent Garden has created the Galentine’s Buff Brunch in partnership with Tequila Rose.

Described as ‘bigger, boozier and buffer than ever’, guests are treated to a welcome shot of Tequila Rose, before enjoying free-flowing Prosecco and bottomless metre-long pizzas.

For entertainment alongside the brunch, boyband the Buff Boys will perform ‘searingly hot routines’ to the likes of Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC.

A limited edition cocktail will also be available, comprising Tequila Rose strawberry cream liqueur, cranberry juice, chocolate and vanilla syrup, and fresh lime juice.

In October 2024, the Inception Group projected its sales revenue for the year to reach £29 million (US$38m), breaking its previous sales records.
