Business-to-business (B2B) cream liqueur developer and manufacturer Creamy Creation benefits from two production facilities: one in Holland in Europe, and a second in the US.

While Irish cream liqueurs may once have ruled the roost, today there is a plethora of flavour, innovation and new product development occurring across the cream liqueur category.

Creamy Creation has long strived to be at the forefront of innovation in the sector.

“The cream liqueur category is still growing and we see a lot of different applications and new innovative concepts,” said Jeroen Huiskes, innovation manager at Creamy Creation. “For example, we can talk about RTDs [ready-to-drink serves] with their small serving sizes.” Creamy Creation is proud of its 200ml can formats.

Huiskes continued: “The trend of low-ABV, RTD beverage market is still growing fast on a global level mainly driven by convenience and premiumisation.

“Another trend is what we call ‘frozen’. This is a pre-mixed cocktail in a slushie format, such as the Frozen Piña Colada.”

He also highlights ‘sorbet’-style drinks, which are available in flavours such as pistachio, coffee or limoncello.
