Creamy Creation and Black Button expand partnership
Black Button Distilling and Creamy Creation have agreed a distribution deal in North America to make cream liqueurs “more accessible” to craft distillers.
Black Button’s Strategic Sourcing Hub division will distribute Creamy Creation’s tote products in the US and Canada.
As New York neighbours, Black Button Distilling and Creamy Creation have a longstanding partnership, having together created the Black Button Distilling Bourbon Cream, one of the distillery’s most popular products.
The Strategic Sourcing Hub, described as an “outgrowth of Black Button’s success as a craft distiller”, arranges the purchase, shipping and logistics of bulk spirits from around the world.
“In keeping with our model of bringing craft spirits to as many people and producers as possible, customers can order as little as one Creamy Creation tote as base and they can mix it with their craft spirits to make their very own craft liqueur,” said Jason Barrett, founder and master distiller of Black Button Distilling and The Strategic Sourcing Hub.
“By helping fellow craft producers get started with creative cream liqueurs, we will help revolutionise the craft cream market by making it more accessible to more distillers.”
Earlier this year, cream liqueur manufacturer Creamy Creation created its first vegan product made with real cream of coconut, which won a Bronze award at The Drinks Business Asia‘s Summer Tasting 2023.
In July, Black Button opened a US$5 million distillery and tasting room.
The brand was the first distillery to operate in Rochester, New York, since prohibition.
