Clydeside launches Whisky Creator tour

The Clydeside Distillery has unveiled an exclusive hands-on whisky creator tour that promises to delve into Glasgow’s whisky heritage.

The two-hour session includes a custom 200ml bottle

Hosted in the distillery’s Blender’s Room, the Whisky Creator Tour invites guests to sample four selected casks, including Bourbon, Sherry, de- and re-charred, and an unreleased cask from Clydeside’s inaugural batch of peated whisky – each presented at cask strength.

Limited to only six guests per session, the tour offers an exclusive chance to explore the craftsmanship behind every bottle produced at Clydeside.

The two-hour session, priced at £90 (US$114) per person, includes a custom 200ml sample with a personalised label to take home as a memorable keepsake in a branded gift bag.

Bridgeen Mullen, visitor centre manager, commented on the new distillery tour: “We’re excited to bring enthusiasts closer to the artistry and legacy of whisky-making with this unique tour. It’s a rare opportunity to experience the essence of our craft, from the selection of each cask to the hands-on bottling.”

The Whisky Creator Tour is now available for booking at the distillery’s website. Limited sessions are available each month.

The Clydeside Distillery on the banks of River Clyde was established by the Morrison family in 2017.

The distillery released its first single malt expression, Stobcross, in October 2021.
