Beluga lands Booker listing
Noblewood Group has secured a national listing for Beluga Noble Vodka at more than 170 Booker branches across the UK.
Following Beluga’s re-launch earlier this year under new ownership, the brand said it has gained substantial interest in the UK’s super-premium vodka market.
The new listing with Booker brings the vodka brand’s Noble expression to consumers across 170 of the wholesaler’s stores in the UK.
Handcrafted by master distillers with ‘pure artesian water and fine grain spirit’, Beluga Noble is described as offering Booker’s customers a ‘refined’ option just in time for the holidays.
Beluga Noble is available in the UK with an RRP of £44.99 (US$57) for a 700ml bottle.
Nick Duncan, UK country manager at Noblewood Group, commented: “We’re excited to be working with the Booker team, one of the UK’s most respected and largest wholesalers. Their expertise and broad reach in the convenience and on-trade sectors make them an ideal partner as we expand Beluga Noble’s presence in the UK.”
According to data by Grand View Research and Statista, the super-premium spirits category in the UK is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of 9.7% from 2024 to 2030, with both off-trade and on-trade channels experiencing significant growth.
In the off-trade, super-premium vodka is expected to rise by 10.9%, while in the on-trade, super-premium vodka is projected to account for 8.3% of total spirits sales in 2024. This trend reflects consumers’ increasing demand for quality and authenticity, particularly in premium spirits.
Noblewood Group is a privately held production and global distribution company for super-premium spirits founded in 2022.
With a distillery located in Latvia and its headquarters, which includes a production site in Montenegro, the group ‘guarantees the highest quality standards’ in the production of Beluga Vodka.
Last month, Beluga reunited with French crystal house Lalique to launch the second limited edition in the Epicure Series.
