Anora Lithuania launches to aid Baltics growth
To grow its position in the Baltics, Anora Group has created a dedicated commercial branch in Lithuania.
Anora Lithuania was officially established on 13 November. A dedicated local team has been put in place and commercial operations will begin in 2025.
Anora Lithuania’s office will be situated in Vilnius.
Kirsi Puntila, senior vice-president, spirits at Anora, said: “Establishing our presence in Lithuania is a crucial step towards achieving our growth ambitions and our commitment to delivering high-quality wine and spirits to our regional markets beyond the Nordics.
“Anora Lithuania builds on our successful Baltic operations in Estonia and Latvia and will feature a local team with deep expertise in the Lithuanian market. We are excited to serve our Lithuanian customers directly and anticipate a bright future in this vibrant, open market.”
Anora Lithuania will help the wider company grow its spirits portfolio in the region, including Koskenkorva Vodka.
In October, Jacek Pastuszka, the CEO of Anora Group, said he would resign and retire from the company once a replacement has been appointed.
The group had a tricky third quarter in 2024, as sales fell by 8.1% after declines in all markets except Sweden.
Meanwhile, earlier this month Anora completed the sale of Swedish schnapps brand Snälleröds to Malmö-based beverage company Saturnus.
