9 Meadows expands online distribution
Swiss alcohol-free ‘spirits’ brand 9 Meadows now offers online deliveries to consumers in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.
Established in 2021 in Switzerland, the company offers five non-alcoholic products: Alpine Sky, which offers notes of juniper, aronia berry and cool mint; Citrus Fields, with flavours of lemon zest, lemon balm and elderflower; Morning Forest, evoking fresh Swiss rosemary, orange mint and pine tip notes; and two newly launched products, Italian bitters-inspired Bitter Grove and Summer Sunset, designed for Spritz cocktails.
Armina Demon, co-founder and CEO of 9 Meadows, said: “As a young Swiss start-up, our launch market was, naturally, Switzerland. As the category is growing quickly, other European markets have developed traction, and we wanted to get closer to our consumers.
“We are very excited about this important next step in our business growth with other markets web shops opening soon.”
“In addition to business-to-consumer (B2C), we aim to strengthen our presence in these markets through collaboration with local distributors and retailers.”
IWSR Drinks Market Analysis expects Germany to be one of the leading markets for non-alcoholic ‘spirits’ growth between 2023-2027. The UK and Spain were also pointed to as growth markets for the category.
9 Meadows is also looking for partners, mainly in the UK, Spain, France and the US. Potential distribution partners are encouraged to visit the company’s website for more information.
In January this year, the brand was awarded two Gold Medals and one Silver Medal in the 2024 Low & No Masters.
9 Meadows is the non-alcoholic ‘spirits’ partner sponsor for The Spirits Business Awards 2024, which is taking place tomorrow (14 November) at a black-tie event at The Underglobe theatre in London.
