Revolution Bars Group rebrands
By Lauren BowesThe owner of UK pub and bar brands Revolution, Revolución de Cuba and Peach Pubs has changed its name to The Revel Collective.

The group recently underwent a restructuring and closed around 18 sites, after rejecting an alternative restructuring proposal from Nightcap. It now has more than 60 venues under the three brands, as well as Founders & Co, a food hall in Swansea.
It also appointed former chairman of Pizza Express Luke Johnson as non-executive chairman last month following the retirement of Keith Edelman.
The name change is active from today (11 October), with its trading code on the London Stock Exchange changing on Monday (14 October).
Rob Pitcher, the group’s chief executive officer, said: “The change of name to The Revel Collective signals a fresh start and better reflects the businesses and brands within the group today, which includes Peach Pubs and Founders & Co.
“Change is good, and always provides opportunity, especially now from the firmer platform from which the group is operating.
“Importantly, for our people, it provides a new dawn and stability from the uncertainty our restructuring caused.
“I am excited to be putting the new plans into action and to be beginning a new era in our journey where we can focus on our team and our guests, growing the business and delivering positive value for all stakeholders.”
According to CGA data, bar chains in Britain have failed to report any sales growth over the past eight months.
