Bosque Gin heads to Patagonia for winter
Argentinian brand Bosque Gin will have a strong presence in its native Patagonian slopes and after-ski venues this winter.
The brand will participate in a wide range of winter experiences in Patagonia, at ski resorts such as Cerro Catedral, Cerro Chapelco and Cerro Bayo.
It will also feature at after-ski events at the American Express Snow House in Cerro Bayo and music-filled evenings at La Finca Skatebar in Bariloche. The bespoke cocktails, crafted by local bartender Maru Avila, will bring a ‘unique local touch’ to the experience, the brand said.
Additionally, in San Martín de los Andes, the ‘Patagonian Lamb Thursdays’ at Los Techos Ski Lodge will offer a complimentary bottle of Bosque Gin for guests to take home.
“At Los Techos Ski Lodge, ‘Thursday Lamb’ is a tradition that brings our guests together in a cosy setting. Upon arrival, we welcome them with a Gin and Tonic made with Bosque Gin, setting the stage for a special evening by the fire,” said Diego Barchi, owner of Los Techos Ski Lodge.
“Our partnership with Bosque Gin enhances this Patagonian experience by combining fine dining, adventure, and high-quality local products. At the end of their stay, we present each guest with a bottle of Bosque Gin as a gift, reaffirming our commitment to a personalised and authentic experience.”
The brand will also participate in the ‘Winter Nights’ at Cerro Otto in Bariloche and in all-year-round sailing tours across the bays of Lake Nahuel Huapi alongside the Sailing Tour Spirit crew.
Sebastián Maccayone, co-founder and CEO of Sailing Tour Spirit, commented on the partnership: “Having Bosque Gin as a partner in our Lake Nahuel Huapi sailing programmes enhances the premium value of our onboard experiences by offering a local product with authentic Patagonian identity that our international guests highly appreciate.
“This strategic alliance strengthens our commitment to local partners, allowing us to provide a luxury experience with our fleet of yachts and an expert crew. We offer personalised service in a destination that attracts visitors from around the world year-round, and having Bosque Gin onboard adds significant value.”
The activations reach consumers from all around the world. Reportedly, approximately 30% of tourists in Patagonia come from abroad during the Argentine ski season.
Last month, the brand’s founder and director, Juan Chereminiano, relocated to the US, setting up the brand’s office in Florida. The relocation is part of Bosque Gin’s plans to expand its distribution in the US from eight to 14 states.
Bosque is also looking to ‘strategically position’ itself in Latin America having already entered Chile, Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil and Colombia.
This year, the brand has gained distribution deals in Poland and Texas, as well as a listing with Amazon UK. It is currently available in more than 20 markets worldwide.
