Open from 19 July to 23 August, the Buffalo Trace Distillery’s temporary pop-up store at 36 Rue Etienne Marcel in Paris’s Les Halles District offers customers ‘a premium retail experience’.

The shop will be open to visitors Monday to Saturday between 11am-9pm and from 12pm-6pm on Sundays.

The completely renovated retail store will offer fans the opportunity to purchase various whiskeys, including Buffalo Trace, Weller 12, Eagle Rare and Sazerac Rye, as well as custom Paris-themed merchandise, some of which can only be found at the summer pop-up.

“In May of this year, we opened Buffalo Trace London, our distillery’s first international location, and we’re honoured to continue engaging and educating international whiskey fans with our Paris store this summer,” said Ed Bell, homeplace director of Buffalo Trace Distillery.

“While everyone is welcome to visit Buffalo Trace Distillery in the United States, we want to make it easier for Paris residents and visitors to learn, explore, try and fall in love with our whiskeys. We know there will be an increase in foot traffic to the city in July and August, and our prime location will give visitors an excuse to go beyond sporting and cultural events while in town.”

After visiting Buffalo Trace Distillery Paris, whiskey fans are invited to stop by Experimental Cocktail Club Paris (ECC) at 37 Rue Saint Sauveur for a special Weller 12 cocktail.

In addition to the retail experience, distillery fans will also have the opportunity to experience an exclusive whiskey sampling featuring some of the distillery’s rarest and most coveted Weller Bourbons from 26 July to 11 August.

A select number of visitors will be able to enjoy complimentary, private samplings for up to four guests at 12 Gold, a bespoke, invite-only Weller-themed lounge created especially for the experience. The tasting will feature Weller whiskies, including the Weller Millennium.

To find out more about the access to the 12 Gold lounge, interested fans are encouraged to follow Buffalo Trace Distillery’s UK/EU social media.

It’s not the first time Buffalo Trace has brought whiskey experiences to Europe. In May, the brand opened a permanent store in London’s Covent Garden, marking its first brand home outside of the US.
