House Party officially opened on Friday 7 June and spans a seven-storey building in Soho’s Poland Street, which was previously occupied by Milk & Honey. Award-winning Milk & Honey was forced to close in 2020 after 18 years due to the UK’s 10pm curfew during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The venue promises to deliver a nostalgic house party experience, with DJ sets, secret rooms, karaoke takeovers, beer pong tournaments, and more.

A video shared on the bar and rapper’s Instagram pages showed rooms with a foosball table, giant Jenga and old school video games.

The website describes House Party as a ‘night-time experience like no other’: “Pres take place in the kitchen and basement.” Consumers can gain access by applying for an invitation, walk-ins, or by booking a room. From 10pm onwards, guests can roam the whole house.

The cocktail menu kicks off with a selection of house serves, including the Dark & Stormzy, made with Havana Especial, ginger beer and lime. Other offerings include Golden Hour, made with Jack Daniel’s, orange liqueur, sweet and sour, and topped with lemonade.

Classic cocktails are also available, including the Negroni, Espresso Martini, Aperol Spritz, and Daiquiri.

The venue will also serve pizzas.

Stormzy, whose debut album Gang Signs & Prayers became the first rap album to win the Brit Award for British Album of the Year in 2018, co-founded the venue with hospitality company Cream Group.

House Party will be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7pm to 1am, and from Thursday to Saturday from 7pm to 3am.
