Stranger & Sons creates Aer Gin
Indian producer Stranger & Sons has bottled a gin exclusively for the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai.
The gin is inspired by ‘Mumbai’s coastal charm’ and named after rooftop bar AER at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai. Bottled at 42.8% ABV, it is also available exclusively at the bar.
The distillery has dubbed the gin as the ‘spirit of the city by the sea’ and it is made with a blend of coastal botanicals, including tamarind, kokum, and mangosteen.
It is said to offer a fresh and saline flavour profile that is ‘distinctively Mumbai’.
Sakshi Saigal, co-founder of Third Eye Distillery, which produces Stranger & Sons, said: “Having spearheaded the craft gin movement in India, we always try to reinvent the wheel and push boundaries with our innovations.
“This exclusive gin for AER Mumbai encapsulates our dedication to innovation and product design, complementing AER’s Creativity and craftsmanship and Four Seasons’ commitment to delivering unparalleled luxury experiences.”
To celebrate the collaboration, Alexandre Renoue, beverage manager at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, has curated a series of ‘perfect serves’ to showcase AER Gin’s versatility and ‘enhance guest experience from dusk to dawn’.
Stranger & Sons was launched in 2018 and is produced at the Third Eye distillery in Goa, India.
In September 2023, the brand introduced a sherry-cask-finished gin for the Indian market.
