The annual trade event took place in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 10-12 March this year.

During the three-day show, a total of 45,082 out of the 47,000 registered visitors were in attendance. This was a decline on the 49,304 visitors in 2023.

The show offered 5,289 exhibitors, with 703 of these from Germany. The remaining 4,586 were international brands, with 65 countries in total represented (including Germany).

The top visitor countries were the Netherlands (12%), Belgium (6%), Italy (6%), the UK (5%) and France (5%). The US accounted for 4% of guests.

Registration for 2025 open

The dates for ProWein 2025 have already been confirmed, and the show will return from 16 to 18 March next year.

Exhibitors have until 30 June to register for ProWein 2025. Hall space will be allocated until late September this year.

Next year’s trade show will take a more ‘compact’ approach structurally, similar to ProWein shows from before the Covid-19 pandemic.

Peter Schmitz, director of ProWein, said: “Under the motto ‘discover the taste of tomorrow’, we will head off into the future with a new look and feel, plus tailor-made concepts.

“The linchpin here will be the condensed space allocation inside the 11 ProWein exhibition halls.

“Entirely in the interest of our exhibitors and visitors from throughout the world, we will arrange ProWein in a markedly more compact structure like prior to the pandemic.”
