Mermaid Gin launches summer pop-up

The Isle of Wight Distillery, the maker of Mermaid Gin, is launching a pop-up in the town of Cowes this summer, named The Mermaid Garden.

Isle of Wight
Mermaid Garden will run until September

Located at The Garden Cowes on the Isle of Wight, the pop-up will offer views across the Solent, as well as live music, cocktails, and gin and tonics made with Mermaid Gin.

Xavier Baker, co-founder of the Isle of Wight Distillery, said: “We are really excited to partner with The Garden Cowes for the first time, to provide an unrivalled waterside venue for islanders and visitors to Cowes from across the Solent.

“We will be serving our award-winning Mermaid collection mixed in delicious cocktails and refreshing G&Ts and look forward to seeing friends old and new.”

Visitors will be able to sample cocktails such as a Coconut Espresso Martini made with the distillery’s salt vodka; a Seaview Sour made with Mermaid Gin; a Mermaid Mojito made with Mermaid Spiced Rum; and the English Garden, made with Mermaid Pink Gin, apple juice and Fever-Tree Light Tonic.

The Mermaid Garden will be open from May until September, and will reopen again for spring and summer 2025.

The brand partnered with a surfing festival in 2022.

The Isle of Wight Distillery makes rum, vodka, gin and canned gin and tonics.

Its Mermaid range is certified net zero and was named one of The Spirits Businesstop 10 sustainable brands.
