The company’s VS, VSOP, XO, ICE and Orange Liqueur expressions can be found at Kingston International Airport and retail stores across the country.

Francis Abécassis, founder and owner of ABK6 Cognac, said: “Our commitment to quality and innovation drives us to explore new horizons in the world of Cognac, and we believe that the modern elegance of ABK6 Single Estate will captivate Cognac lovers across the island.

“We are thrilled to introduce ABK6 Single Estate Cognac to the vibrant Jamaican market.”

Founded in 2005, the brand looks to combine modernity with family heritage in the production of its Cognac.

The brand’s products are ‘single-estate’, meaning each stage of production is carried out on the Abécassis family’s vineyards in France, from cultivation of the vine to blending and bottling.

The Cognac is recommended sipped neat, on the rocks, or in a cocktail such as a Sidecar.

Last month, the brand released a Cognac blended and designed specially for Chinese New Year. The bottle was created in collaboration with Chinese artists Qiaolong Huang and Bingna Xu.

Along with ABK6, the Abécassis family also produces Cognacs under the brands Leyrat, Reviseur and Grands Domaines.

The Cognac sector is under pressure following success during the pandemic, particularly in travel retail.
