Lavish names Dutch distributor
By Rupert HohwielerReady-to-drink (RTD) brand Lavish has appointed Anker Amsterdam Spirits as its distributor in the Netherlands.
Lavish has 15 canned cocktails in its range, including a Cosmopolitan and Gin Fizz, a whisky and cola serve and a line of absinthe-based variants.
On the whole, Lavish’s RTDs have a higher ABV in comparison to other brands, with an average of between 10% and 21% ABV.
Lavish said it sought a distribution partner last year due to ‘surging popularity’ of its products, especially among consumers aged 21-35.
The brand was founded in 2014 with an aim of ‘re-defining the ready-to-drink market globally with premium beverages crafted from a unique blend of ingredients’.
The partnership will enable Anker Amsterdam Spirits customers to have exclusive access to Lavish’s 2024 flavours.
The company said its most important traders are in supermarkets, off-licences and hotels, and it will also be available at festivals this year.
Lavish products retail in Europe for an RRP between €4-6 (US$4-6.50).
Anker Amsterdam Spirits was founded more than 30 years ago, in 1990, and wants to be a ‘‘one-stop supplier’ for premium drinks in Europe’. It also distributes Dutch vodka Louers throughout the region..
