Trade show organiser Vinexposium previously confirmed that its flagship fair would return to the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in France’s capital on 12-14 February.

For the 2024 show, Vinexposium said it is ‘ramping up the experience’ with 28% extra floor space across the exhibition, providing space for 3,900 exhibitors.

The Be Spirits area will feature 25 alcohol categories including Tequila, umeshu, vermouth, vodka, whisky, mezcal, pastis, rum, apéritifs, Armagnac, brandy, Calvados, Cognac, liqueurs, brandy and gin.

New innovations will also be shared in the space.

An extensive range of countries will be represented in the Be Spirits space including the US, Japan, Italy, the UK, Mexico, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Canada, Slovakia and more.

Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium, said: “2024 will see the advent of new categories in the Be Spirits area with the arrival of beers and ciders.

“Also, more alcohol-free and low-alcohol alternatives will be listed. The range extension comes in response to broader demand from consumers.”

The Craft Pavilion will also return for 2024 as a space designed to promote discovery within the Be Spirits area. It will be divided into three zones: spirits, beer and cider, and no/low.

Another feature that will be back is the 40-metre-long Infinite Bar, which will host three bartenders from London, Barcelona and Madrid as guest stars. The space will showcase the creativity of bartenders from 20 bars, with brands partnering with venues to create 60 serves.

The 2023 edition of Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris saw a 41% increase in visitor numbers compared with 2022.

Last year’s show welcomed 36,334 visitors from 149 countries, marking an 85% increase in international visitors.
