The Good Money Whisky range will be distributed in 11 states by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, along with his brand-new Champagne, Le Bon Argent.

The collection comprises two whiskies: a five-year-old blended whisky and a 10-year-old rye whisky.

The five-year-old has notes of caramelised apple, tropical fruits and a touch of spice, while the rye has a ‘complex’ profile that includes butterscotch, spice and vanilla, with a citrus finish.

The five-year-old has an ABV of 40% and an RRP of US$40, while the rye is $85 and 45% ABV.

Both the whisky brand and the Champagne launched yesterday (18 October) at an event held at Southern Glazer’s Las Vegas office and warehouse facility.

“Every adult wants to have something great to drink,” Mayweather said at the event. “And guess what? Together with my team, we developed and sourced the best exclusive products we could find to be offered to the public. And here they are!

“This is what I do. I am a smart entertainer and very successful entrepreneur. I will continue to excel with Good Money and Le Bon Argent – no doubt.”

A spokesperson for Southern Glazer’s said that the two new lines will “be in all 44 Glazer’s states by the end of 2024”.

Martial arts star Jean-Claude Van Damme also joined the whisky business yesterday, with an Irish whiskey brand called Old Oak.
