Nemiroff enters Romania
Ukrainian vodka brand Nemiroff has launched in Romania through a distribution deal with Simba Invest.
Simba Invest will import and distribute the Ukrainian brand in Romania, with a special focus on the premium Nemiroff De Luxe product.
Simba Invest is said to have a ‘significant presence’ in the bar industry and ‘extensive’ experience in the distribution of food and drink products at national and regional levels in Romania.
The distribution deal marks a ‘significant milestone’ in Nemiroff’s global expansion strategy as it seeks to ‘solidify its position as a leading player in the international spirits industry’.
Nemiroff CEO Yuriy Sorochynskiy said: “We are very proud to introduce our Ukrainian indomitable spirit in a new destination in Europe — Romania.
“I am excited to introduce Nemiroff De Luxe to new customers together with our new partner Simba Invest, and I am confident that this partnership will be beneficial for both sides.”
Nemiroff De Luxe is inspired by a centuries-old vodka-making tradition in Ukraine and reflects the distilling heritage of the brand.
The vodka undergoes an 11-stage filtration process and offers a ‘refined, rich taste with a light linden flower flavour’.
The liquid has notes of butter, apple peel, leather, elderflower, peppermint, and lemon zest.
The new distribution deal follows Nemiroff’s expansion into Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia with Badel 1862.
Last year, the vodka brand signed a distribution agreement with spirits importer Disaronno International.
In August, we caught up with Sorochynskiy to find out how the company is operating six months on from the outbreak of war in Ukraine.
