Latin Gin launches in the UK

After ‘tremendous success’ in Spain, Latin Gin has made its debut in the UK through online retailer Amazon.

The premium gin brand is produced in the foothills of the Italian Alps.

The producer said it has become a favourite among gin drinkers in Spain.

Nick Kuelbs, Latin Gin president, said: “Our unique blend of Latin American botanicals has been extremely well received in Spain and the US, and we are excited to share our passion for premium gin with gin enthusiasts in the UK.”

The brand said its expansion into the UK ‘reflects its commitment to meeting the needs of consumers who are looking for high quality and innovative spirits’.

“We are excited to expand our distribution to the United Kingdom and share our passion for Latin culture and flavours with a new audience,” added Latin Gin co-founder Ivania Sher.

“We believe that our gin offers a unique and flavourful experience that will appeal to gin lovers and Latin luxury buyers alike.”

The brand’s range includes Latin Secco Gin, Latin Spice Gin, Latin Lover Strawberry and Rose Flavoured Gin, and Latin Beach Gin.

The gins are made with a blend of botanicals, including Italian lemons and strawberries, Ecuadorian passion fruit, rose, hibiscus and elderflower, Calabrian peppers, Brazilian limes, Tuscan juniper berries, and oranges from Argentina.

The Latin Gin collection is available to purchase from Amazon UK for £44.99 (US$56.50) per 700ml bottle.

Exports of UK gin bounced back by more than a third last year to surpass pre-pandemic levels, but Brexit caused EU imports to the UK to plummet.
