Rose will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships with ‘key’ clients across the region. He will also work with the sales team to develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and grow the company’s market share.

Rose has more than 15 years’ experience in the drinks industry.

Steven Pattison, CEO of Kirker Greer Spirits, said: “We are thrilled to announce that David is coming onboard as our GB regional director, he is a true match to the company ethos and brings a wealth of experience in the industry and a proven track record of success.

“He is the perfect addition to our business as we continue to grow and expand our already enthusiastic and dynamic sales team to work towards increasing distribution and visibility of our brands in Great Britain.”

“We have experienced incredible success over the past few years and are expected to reach triple-growth figures this year. To support this growth, we will continue to make significant investment in both personnel and brand support for the trade.”

The company is a division of Drinksology Kirker Greer (DKG).

The subdivision owns, manages and distributes a range of spirits brands internationally, including Japanese spirits brand UkiyoKirker Shamrock Whiskey, Ginato Italian Gin, and Jawbox Irish Gin.

Rose added: “Kirker Greer Spirits has been on my radar for a long time now, everything the company does is exceptional, from the creative division of the business, Drinksology, to its world-class portfolio of premium and innovative spirit brands.

“The role was right up my street but what sold it to me was the positive energy that came from the co-founders Steven Pattison and Richard Ryan. Their enthusiasm for the industry, the company, the brands, and the people instantly won me over.

“There are enormous growth opportunities for us in GB and I am certain that our spirit brands will be as popular with consumers here, as they have proved to be in other markets.

“I look forward to working collaboratively with the team to provide the resources, opportunities and environment to deliver performance for Kirker Greer Spirits.”

Earlier this month, Kirker Greer Spirits promoted John Soden to president of Americas, a new role in the company’s international sales department.
