Whitebox unveils canned Dirty Martini

Ready-to-drink (RTD) brand Whitebox Cocktails has expanded its portfolio with a single-serve Dirty Martini.

Whitebox’s Tiny Tee’s Dirty Martini is made with charcoal-filtered wheat vodka

The 100ml can, called Tiny Tee’s Dirty Vodka Martini, combines smooth, charcoal-filtered British wheat vodka with ‘herbaceous’ dry vermouth and green olive brine. It is presented at 34.6% ABV.

The balance of salty brine is said to cut through the ‘snappy clarity’ of the wheat vodka to finish with a ‘moreish, lingering salinity’.

Ben Iravani, co-founder of Whitebox Cocktails, commented: “I am excited to add this to our growing selection of classic cocktails. A Dirty Martini is a great classic drink because it combines the timeless appeal of a traditional Martini with the savoury and salty kick of olive brine.”

The Tiny Tee’s Dirty Vodka Martini follows the release of Whitebox Cocktails’ Freezer Martini, the first Martini designed for the freezer. As with this pioneering serve, Tiny Tee’s should be placed in the freezer for up to 24 hours prior to consumption. It is recommended served straight-up in a Nick and Nora glass.

Alex Lawrence, co-founder of Whitebox Cocktails, added: “Despite having just a few ingredients, a great Martini can be hard to make, so there is a huge benefit in the single-serve format.

“We spent months carefully balancing the recipe so that so that people can serve it within a few seconds with the confidence it stands up to the quality expected from the word’s best bars”

Launching on 24 April, Tiny Tee’s Dirty Vodka Martini will be available in cases of six for RRP £30 (US$37.30) from whiteboxcocktails.com.

Single 100ml cans (RRP £6/US$7.46) are also available at independent bottle shops and delis nationwide, including Clapton Craft, Eat 17, Forest Wines, Gnarly Vines, Shop Cuvée, and Slurp.

Tiny Tee’s Dirty Vodka Martini joins Whitebox’s growing RTD range, which includes the award-winning Pocket Negroni, Classic Cosmo, and Squeezy’s Margarita, as well as long serves such as Disco Baby, Whisky Highball and Hippy Fizz.
