Scotch Whisky Masters 2023: entries open
By Melita KielyThe deadline is approaching to enter one of the most prestigious tastings in The Global Spirits Masters Competitions calendar: The Scotch Whisky Masters 2023.

In May, The Global Spirits Masters Competitions (The GSMC) will host the 2023 edition of The Scotch Whisky Masters, designed to reward and celebrate the best bottlings from Scotland.
Expert judges, with no brand affiliations, will be tasked with judging each entry based solely on the liquid in the glass.
Entrants will be divided into their respective categories, including price points, styles, age and regions.
Entries will be accepted until the deadline on 30 April, with samples due in early May.
Melita Kiely, editor of The Spirits Business and chair of The GSMC, said: “This is a brilliant opportunity for producers to showcase the best of Scotland’s whisky scene.
“The GSMC prides itself in its use of independent judges – unique to the industry. The blind-tasting series has been growing year on year, and we are excited to see the excellence and innovation coming from the Scotch whisky category in this year’s Scotch Whisky Masters blind tasting.”
