Caleño’s canned cocktails are made using the brand’s two core ‘spirits’

Caleño Pineapple Piña Colada Spritz and Caleño Passion Fruit Martini Spritz are the brand’s debut canned serves, pre-mixed using its two core ‘spirits’: Dark & Spicy and Light & Zesty.

Founder Ellie Webb commented: “Caleño’s tropical non-alcoholic pre-mixed cocktails are inspired by the vibrancy of my Colombian heritage. Our cans have been specifically designed to crack open in a high-tempo situation this summer – on the way to a festival or at a party in the park.

“We see so many low-and-no brands offering drinkers a slower, wellness moment when they’re enjoying a non-alcoholic drink. We’re here to say that you can actually still enjoy alcohol-free drinks in the same fun, exciting environment that you may enjoy alcohol in.

“We want to give consumers a mini fiesta when they’re enjoying our drinks, and our new tropical pre-mixed cocktails have been created to fit this occasion.”

Both canned expressions are blended with natural ingredients, and lightly carbonated to create a refreshing Spritz that’s ‘perfect as a party-starter cocktail, sunny refresher or on-the-go treat’.

The Pineapple Piña Colada Spritz is described as a bubbly Spritz with notes of juicy pineapple, toasted coconut and complex spices. It uses Caleño’s Dark & Spicy core ‘spirit’, a tropical non-alcoholic take on a vibrant spiced rum.

The Passion Fruit Martini Spritz is blended with citrus, passion fruit and vanilla to deliver a refreshing, carbonated-take on the well-loved Passion Fruit Martini. Both are recommended to be enjoyed chilled.

The 250ml tropical cocktail cans contain no artificial flavours, are low in sugar, and suitable for vegans.

Both varieties will be available at from early May priced at RRP £2.50 (US$3.10) per can, with the option to buy in cases of 12 for RRP £30 (US$37.26).

Webb continued: “We want to make drinking non-alcoholic cocktails as fun, affordable and convenient as possible. Launching our cans this spring will offer a super refreshing and tropical treat for those scorching summer days ahead of us.”

According to the brand, Caleño has seen 180% growth in the last three years.
