Mintis Gin launches in Croatia
By Alice BrookerItalian gin brand Mintis has partnered with beverage supplier Valentic Drinks to distribute its products in Croatia.
Mintis Gin will be available in wholesaler Metro Cash and Carry and in the Muller retail chain, and is preparing for a roll-out in large retail chains in the country.
Stepan Stanek, Mintis CEO, said: “We see great potential for Mintis Gin in retail thanks to eye-catching bottles and we are very pleased to work with such a renowned distributor as Valentic Drinks.”
Mintis launched in 2021, and is made using Italian mint from Pancalieri, known for its ‘fresh aroma’ and well-ripened fruits, according to the brand.
Mintis’ portfolio comprises four expressions: Originale, Clementina, Amarena and Ribesa. Each bottling is made without added sugar or colours, and all are vegan-friendly.
The gins are presented in custom-made bottles inspired by fresh mint bunches, and the vessels are said to ‘reinforce the value of the gins’.
Goran Valentic, CEO of Valentic Drinks, said: “Mintis is an unmatched gin with a well-balanced combination of pricing, quality and packaging and that‘s what we were looking for in the Croatian market.”
Mintis has recently launched in Bulgaria, with beverage supplier Cherry Picking, It is now available in 27 countries, having expanded its global footprint earlier this year.
Exports of British gin were recently revealed to have bounced back by more than a third in 2022, despite “ongoing challenges”.
