Mintis Gin grows global availability
By adminItalian brand Mintis Gin has expanded its international footprint to a total of 25 countries.
Launched 18 months ago, the gin is made with Italian mint from Pancalieri in Italy, Italian fruits and hand-picked juniper berries from Tuscany.
The gin is distilled at a Piedmont-based family-run distillery in a custom-made vacuum still.
This method uses lower temperatures compared with traditional distillation techniques, designed to ‘preserve’ the gin’s ‘aromatic, fresh flavours’.
The brand’s portfolio comprises four expressions: Originale, Clementina, Amarena and Ribesa.
Each bottle is made without added sugar or colours.
Stepan Stanek, Mintis Gin CEO, said: “We want to give customers [the] chance to enjoy high aromatic, refreshing and fruity gin without any artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners.”
The brand recommends enjoying its gins with tonic water or in signature cocktails, such as the Originale Gin Fizz, Clementina Negroni, or Amarena Cherry Gimlet.
Mintis Gin will be exhibiting at Vinexpo Paris next week in the Be Spirits Hall 2.2, stand C070. It will also showcase Rum Serum from Panama.
The brand won two Gold medals in The Gin Masters 2022 blind-tasting competition, part of The Global Spirits Masters Competitions. One was awarded to “sweet, cherry-like, fruity” Mintis Gin Amarena, while a second was given to “lively” Mintis Gin Clementina, with lots of “citrus oils”.
