Skyy Vodka partners with NYC Pride

Campari-owned Skyy Vodka has launched a campaign with NYC Pride, which will see the brand cover the costs of weddings for 100 couples across the US.

The campaign is an extension of Skyy’s ongoing support of the LGBTQIA+ community

The Skyy Says I Do campaign has been launched in celebration of the Respect for Marriage Act, which will guarantee federal recognition of same-sex and interracial marriages, and was signed by president Joe Biden on Tuesday (13 December).

Sean Yelle, Campari senior category marketing director, said: “Skyy Vodka’s support of marriage equality over recent years has supported organisations like Freedom to Marry to bring to life the Toast to Marriage campaign in 2015.

“As a supporter of marriage equality, Skyy Vodka is proud to stand alongside the LGBTQIA+ community.

“The progressive spirit of Skyy Vodka is rooted in its California origins, and the brand is committed to making a positive impact on social justice issues that affect the community at large.”

The Skyy Says I Do campaign will see the brand cover the costs of wedding ceremonies for 100 couples via a digital sweepstake hosted on Instagram in celebration of marriage equality.

Couples aged 21 and older can enter for a chance to win by sharing a picture of themselves with their partner and tagging @SkyyVodka and using the hashtag #SKYYSaysIDo.

Skyy Vodka is a long standing supporter of marriage equality and the LGBTQIA+ community. The brand believes in the freedom for individuals to love and marry whomever they choose.

This year Skyy was named the official spirit partner of NYC Pride 2022.

In addition, the brand donated US$50,000 to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a New York based non-profit that helps people across the country receive life-saving medicine, healthcare, and more.

In partnership with NYC Pride, Skyy is also hosting a free pop-up wedding chapel at The Mezzanine on December 19, which will be open to everyone in New York City looking to officially get married.

The pop-up will provide couples with everything they need for their big day, including the venue, officiant, photographer, as well as food and Skyy cocktails.

Consumers can register to take part in the pop-up wedding chapel by visiting www.skyysaysido.eventbrite.com.

Skyy vodka relaunched with a new recipe and bottle design in 2021.
