We celebrate the winners of The Spirits Business Awards 2022

Now in its fourth year, The Spirits Business Awards welcomed more than 80 guests to The Club at The Ivy in London to reveal this year’s winners.

The awards span retail and marketing, sustainability and innovation, tourism, products and the people behind the brands consumers know and love.

The awards were judged earlier this year by: David T Smith, spirits writer, consultant and co-founder of the Craft Distilling Expo; Ivan Dixon, independent spirits consultant; Dimple Athavia, founder of All Things Drinks; Millie Milliken, award-winning freelance drinks writer; Bernadette Pamplin, founder of the Under the Ginfluence blog; Sarah Miller, founder of the Gin A Ding Ding blog; Jack Dalton, UK and international sales manager at the Edinburgh Whisky Academy; and Melita Kiely, editor of The Spirits Business.

Kiely commented: “Through numerable challenges over the past year, the spirits industry has stayed committed to creativity, innovation, and ultimately delivering quality experiences for spirits fans.

“Not only that, but I’ve seen a real allyship become apparent across the trade, from charitable fundraising efforts to working to elevate industry peers and their businesses or projects. There is a real camaraderie that should make us all proud to be part of this industry.

“These moments of excellence are precisely what The Spirits Business Awards have been designed to acknowledge and celebrate. Those who have received awards this year are doing something incredibly special, and my congratulations go to all of our worthy winners this year.”

The Spirits Business Awards 2022 was sponsored by Ty Nant Natural Mineral Water, and Glencairn Crystal, which provided the trophies.
