Daniel Craig stars in Belvedere campaign
James Bond actor Daniel Craig is the star of Belvedere Vodka’s latest campaign.
Academy award-winning filmmaker Taika Waititi directed the Belvedere film.
In the video, Craig can be seen dancing to an original soundtrack written and performed by Rita Ora and Giggs, and produced by Invisible Men, Bandits, and Hungry Man.
JaQuel Knight choreographed the moves, while Juergen Teller photographed the accompanying still shots that form part of the campaign.
Waititi’s goal was to imagine how life might look when the cameras are not rolling.
In the video, Craig moves out of a crowd and passes the Pont Neuf bridge in Paris, France.
He ‘playfully sashays’ through the lobby, hallways and rooftop of the luxurious Cheval Blanc Paris.
The actor the side-steps into a suite and dances towards the Belvedere bar.
However, as Craig is about to take a sip, the director shouts “cut”, and Waititi asks the former 007 star to take it from the top again.
The campaign aired in Times Square, New York, on 9 November for the first time. In the UK, the campaign will be shown in Picadilly Circus on 21 November.
Belvedere is owned by LVMH. Two years ago, Belvedere expanded its portfolio with the launch of a new malted rye spirit drink – Belvedere Heritage 176.
