IAADFS opens space applications for 2023
The International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) has opened exhibition space applications for the 2023 Summit of the Americas.
The summit will take place from 16-19 April at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The four-day event will bring together representatives from all segments of the industry – including manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, service providers, and members of the industry press – to meet, network, conduct business, and learn from engaging executive-level presentations and panels.
The IAADFS president and CEO, Michael Payne, commented: “We received very positive feedback about the quality of buyers in 2022 and the fact that they were serious decision-makers who were at the summit to do business.
“Since no other event brings together such a focused and high-quality sampling of the duty free and travel retail industry in the Americas and Caribbean, we’re really looking forward to providing this excellent opportunity for our industry to meet, network, learn from one another, and conduct business.”
The summit will return to a more traditional format for 2023, featuring an exhibit hall alongside a limited number of private exhibit and meeting rooms.
A more streamlined education programme will take place, with a morning and afternoon session each day on Monday and Tuesday.
Morning sessions will run prior to the opening of the exhibit hall, reducing the amount of time attendees must select between attending sessions versus attending meetings, and increasing the amount of time that exhibitors may attend sessions.
The IAADFS continues to expand the universe of eligible buyer attendees to reflect the evolving nature of the duty free and travel retail industry.

Previous exhibitors have already been sent the 2023 exhibitor information kit and should submit their space requests by Friday 16 September.
Potential new exhibitors are asked to submit their space requests by Friday 30 September.

Registration and housing are anticipated to open in September.
