Moth secures Picturehouse cinema listing

Premium canned cocktail brand Moth Drinks is now the exclusive ready-to-drink (RTD) pour at Picturehouse cinemas across the UK.

Moth’s can be enjoyed from the comfort of Picturehouse cinema seats and across its on-trade venues

Four of the bar-quality cans from the brand’s RTD portfolio are now available at all 26 Picturehouse sites nationwide.

The offering includes the Margarita, made with Enemigo Tequila, triple sec, lime and salt; Negroni, combining Tarquin’s ‘The Sea Dog’ Navy Strength Gin, Asterley Bros Estate Vermouth and amaro; Espresso Martini, which blends Wood Bros Winter Wheat Vodka, cold brew coffee and coffee liqueur (all served in 125ml cans with a 14.9% ABV); and Mojito, made with Duppy Share Rum, mint, lime and soda (served in a 200ml can at 10% ABV).

“We’re really excited to be working with Picturehouse to pair our Moth cocktails with great films on show,” said co-founder of Moth Drinks Rob Wallis.

“Our range is perfectly suited to Picturehouse with a cocktail for every film occasion, from a sharp Margarita in the bar before, a smooth Espresso Martini during the film, or an end of night Negroni with friends after.”

Last month Moth announced that its canned Margarita would be available on all British Airway flights to and from the UK.

Lissa Cardell, Picturehouse’s head of sponsorship and partnerships, commented:  “During the summer we welcomed Moth Drinks as an official partner to Sundance Film Festival: London. Festival-goers had overwhelmingly positive feedback on the canned cocktails, so we are delighted to be rolling out the full range to all of our cinemas across the UK.

“At Picturehouse we are as committed to the quality of our food and drink, as we are our film programming. Moth is a perfect partner to welcome into the fold.”

In May, Ellie Goulding’s brand Served partnered with Everyman cinemas to offer its RTD hard seltzers in 37 venues across the UK.
