The gin is bottled at 40% ABV

Sir Edmond’s Bourbon vanilla-infused gin will be rolled out further in Europe travel retail, with it already being available at the Heinemann Tax Free stores in the airports of Berlin, Copenhagen and Hamburg. More airports will soon follow.

Sir Edmond co-owner T-J van der Drift said: “All departments are in close contact with each other and with their two large subsidiaries, Heinemann Americas and Heinemann Asia Pacific. The people at Gebr Heinemann are just really passionate about their business, as are we.”

Sir Edmond Gin will also be available online through Gebr Heinemann’s website.

Dominique Makatita, co-founder of Sir Edmond, added: “Gebr Heinemann serves clients from all over the world in all continents.

“From airports and airlines to border shops, ferries and cruise lines. Their passion for people, for products, for trade and retail has made them a leader in the travel retail category. We look forward to continuing our journey alongside such a reliable and strong partner.”

This year, the brand has increased its reach in a number of European countries. Last week, it revealed a new distribution deal with Svet Nápojov, one of Slovakia’s leading spirits distributors.

Sir Edmond has also teamed up with Greek distributor Pro Drinks, plus importer Spirit Hub, to expand its availability in Hungary. The brand also partnered with beverage supplier Merit HP to distribute its spirit in Slovenia, and entered Croatia through wine and spirits importer Brza Distribucija.
