London Essence offers ‘world’s first’ premium tonic on tap

Mixer producer The London Essence Company has launched its premium on tap proposition in a bid to support a more sustainable way of serving, and offer operational efficiency to the hospitality industry.

The London Essence Co’s premium on tap technology reduces packaging by 96%

The patented dispense system technology is designed to ensure a seamless serve in every pour, perfectly chilled and on demand.

The ‘eye catching’ fount, high quality liquids and speed of service provides a cost-effective way for bars and venues to ensure the purest flavours in every serve.

“To have a quality draught offer in tonic is a win for our business,” commented Anthony Pender, co-founder of Yummy Pubs. “The environmental impact of increased glass with regard to carbon footprint is coupled with savings we have on fridge space and being able to reduce our glass bin collections by nearly six a week.

“With the financial and environmental impact being positive, the guest experience will always come first.

“The serve has been exceptional with the right balance of practicality and theatre in a busy bar environment. We’ve been working with London Essence to also improve our serve with improved garnishes and recipe items. The scope to change and personalise drinks is an absolute winner and will become a key feature of premiumisation in the not-too-distant future.”

The ’world first’ dispense system works by using patented micro-dosing technology which gently infuses freshly distilled botanicals into carbonated chilled tonic water at the point of serve.

Presented with an elegant copper and stainless-steel design, the ‘innovative’ draught system boasts five ‘exquisite’ flavours in the London Essence portfolio: Indian tonic, elderflower, rhubarb, cucumber and grapefruit.

Upon installing into venues, The London Essence Co provides complimentary welcome kits which include the brand’s premium glassware alongside convenient bar tools designed to enhance the guest experience.

Freshly Infused on tap also features a London Essence tonic and spirit pairing guide to inspire bartenders when creating serves.

The technology was originally trialled in outlets across the UK in 2019.
