Strykk appoints US distributor

Non-alcoholic ‘spirits’ brand Strykk has appointed Beverage Lo-No Distribution as its US importer.

The brand’s core range comprises four bottlings, including ‘gin’, ‘vodka’, and ‘rum’ alternatives

Strykk produces four spirit alternatives: Not G*n, Not R*m, Not V*odka, and Not Vanilla V*odka.

The brand launched in 2018 by Andrew King, Jack Horner and Alex Carlton, creator of Funkin Cocktails.

“The US is a super important global market and demand for non-alcoholic spirits is growing fast,” commented Carlton.

“Strykk is well positioned to meet the growing demand in the US for premium, fun, non-alcoholic spirits alternatives. We have big aspirations for Strykk to become a US household name.”

In October last year, the brand made its US debut with Amazon. The partnership with Lo-No Distribution will focus on establishing the brand in New York, California and Florida, before expanding nationwide. The distribution firm exclusively manages premium, non-alcoholic ‘spirits’.

“We are delighted to take on Strykk, a pioneer of the non-alc spirits movement,” said Thierry Jean, president and CEO of Bev Lo-No.

“Having followed Strykk’s progress for some time, we now have a golden opportunity to develop this star of a brand in the US.”

The four-strong core range will be available for RRP US$29.99 per 700ml bottle.

Carlton added that the partners share a goal to unlock new digital sales channels, as well as the grocery and on-trade markets.

He continued: “We are excited about working with Bev Lo-No and will quickly build a strong presence and loyal trade and consumer following. We will tap into the Americans’ love of cocktails and grab the opportunity as consumers steadily move to a more balanced, mindful approach to drinking.

“Given the interest already shown by US retailers and increased demand from other channels, we expect a great start to this expansion and forecast a 300% increase in US sales in 2022.”
