Party marks 15 years of The Global Spirits Masters
The Global Spirits Masters is celebrating 15 years of blind-tasting competitions this year, coinciding with 150 editions of The Spirits Business magazine this August.
To mark the momentous milestone, the blind-tasting series and magazine will co-host a Summer Party on 15 June.
The event will take place at the recently rebranded 58 and Co distillery in east London.
Rhiannon Morris, sales and marketing manager at The Spirits Business and The Global Spirits Masters, said: “Following on from a record-breaking year for The Global Spirits Masters series in 2021, we’re over the moon to be celebrating 15 years of The Global Spirits Masters this year.
“The aim of the competitions has always been to celebrate excellence in the spirits industry, so it’s been incredible to see the continued innovation and commitment to quality displayed in the medal-winning spirits entered into the competitions year on year.
“The Global Spirits Masters launched in 2008 with The Vodka Masters and we now run 22 competitions that cover a range of spirits categories. Hitting the 15-year milestone is a huge achievement that has been made possible due to the ongoing hard work of The Spirits Business team, our exceptional judges, and the high calibre of medal-winning spirits produced by the brands we aim to celebrate in each competition.”
The celebration has numerous points of entertainment planned, including a DJ set by British rapper and Kamo Vodka co-owner Lady Leshurr.
Guests will also be able to enjoy an insightful masterclass led by The Lost Explorer Mezcal.
Plus, Soho Street Cocktails will be the official pre-mixed cocktail sponsor of the Summer Party.
Throughout the event there will be plenty of photo opportunities via Showtime Photo Booth. The London-based photo booth hire company will be on hand with its Gif Photo Booth.
Additional confirmed sponsors of the Summer Party include White Claw, the official hard seltzer and welcome drink, which will also host a pop-up bar at the event.
