Kirker Greer hires global brand ambassadorBy Alice Brooker
Ginato owner Drinksology Kirker Greer has named ex-Dead Rabbit bartender Peter Moore as global educator and ambassador across its portfolio.
In the new role, Moore will work towards shaping the ‘future’ of the Drinksology Kirker Greer brand experiences.
He will also help educate its network of global distributors, plus on- and off-trade customers on brands such as Kirker Irish Whiskey, Ukiyo Japanese Spirits, Grand Kadoo Rum and Italian gin Ginato.
Moore commented: “I’ve always had a passion for spirits and now I am lucky enough to work with a world-class portfolio of premium and innovative spirit brands, for a company that has global expansion at the forefront of its vision.
“I’m also looking forward to finding ways to connect with our international partners and consumers and educate them on our fantastic brands.”
Moore has 15 years of experience in the drinks industry, having worked as head bartender in various venues including The Dead Rabbit in New York.
Steven Pattison, Drinksology Kirker Greer CEO and co-founder, said: “Peter is a true match to Drinksology Kirker Greer’s ethos and brings an in-depth knowledge of spirits and mixology to the role – we are excited to watch him share our brand stories and help us spread the word of our fantastic brands in the global marketplace.”
Drinksology Kirker Greer also recently named Duty Free Global (DFG) as its global travel retail partner. DFG will be rolling out Kirker Greer’s spirits portfolio in global travel retail, including Ginato and Ukiyo Japanese Gin.
