Van Erve takes over the position from Albert de Heer, who has moved into the role of global business development director for a transition period. He will depart the company to start his own business.

“I want to express my profound respect and gratitude to Albert for developing many new products and campaigns for De Kuyper over the past 15 years and for playing a valuable role in the enormous transition that our company has gone through,” said Mark de Witte, CEO of De Kuyper.

Van Erve joined De Kuyper in April 2019 as global marketing manager.

She brings more than 15 years of marketing experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry to the new role.

Prior to joining the drinks company, van Erve worked at consumer goods firm Sara Lee and Lamb Weston Meijer, a producer of frozen potato products.

“I am more than pleased to announce that we have found a very well qualified internal successor for this important position,” de Witte added.

“In the past years Godelief has already made great contributions in bringing us closer to our vision to ‘own the cocktail’ and accelerating our global growth. We are convinced that our strong brands will be in very good hands with Godelief in the upcoming phase of growth.”

The new position will see van Erve become part of the global leadership team based in Schiedam, Amsterdam.

Earlier this month, De Kuyper rolled out five bottled cocktails to the on-trade.
